Lake Tenno

A turquoise diamond set in the green of the woods: Lake Tenno is a pleasure for the eyes and an opportunity to explore the surroundings, among villages and gastronomy Where is it We are located north of Lake Garda, precisely 10 km from the Hotel Alberello. We are 570 meters above sea level and close to the splendid Lake Tenno, there is also the medieval village of Canale di Tenno, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.

What to do First, we recommend a visit to the medieval village of Canale di Tenno. Here you can visit the Casa degli Artisti, dedicated to Giacomo Vittone, an adoptive painter from Canale, and participate in Rustico Medioevo, a festival of various arts which brings back some moments of medieval life in the village, and which is held the first two weeks of August.

After the cultural visits, it is time to relax: those who come to Lake Tenno, in fact, are looking for just this. A trip to the lake is an opportunity to immerse yourself in its waters, giving yourself a moment of deep contact with nature.

Finally, the Varone Waterfall is formed from the lake’s only outlet and the Varone Waterfall Grotto Park is one of the most evocative attractions of this area: here you can follow a path between bridges, stairs, paths and tunnels dug into the mountain.
